Low-pressure soft washing that lifts algae, mildew and grime from siding without forcing water behind it.
Most siding in the North Country doesn't need pressure — it needs the right cleaning solution and enough patience to let it work. Damp Adirondack summers and long shaded stretches leave green algae and black mildew on north- and tree-facing walls, and blasting that off with a pressure washer drives water behind the siding, scars vinyl and strips paint.
We soft wash instead: a biodegradable solution applied at low pressure, given time to break down the growth at the root, then rinsed. It kills what's living on the surface rather than just knocking the colour off, which is why a soft wash lasts far longer than a pressure wash on the same wall.

How the job runs

Common questions
Will soft washing damage my siding or plants?
No. The whole point of soft washing is that it works at roughly garden-hose pressure — the solution does the work, not force. We pre-wet landscaping before we start and rinse it again afterwards, which is standard on every job.
How long will my house stay clean?
Typically 12–18 months here, depending on tree cover and which way the wall faces. Shaded north walls near the lakes green up faster than open south-facing ones. Most customers book a wash every spring or every other spring.
Do I need to be home?
Not if we can reach an outside water spigot. Plenty of our camp and second-home customers are hours away — we send before and after photos by text when the job is done.
